Our experience includes 209 clinical studies, spanning non small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, solid tumours, colorectal cancer, melanoma, prostate cancer and renal cell carcinoma.

Oncology moves fast. Standards of care evolve, biomarker requirements can significantly narrow the eligible population, and the same patients may have several competing trial options. In advanced disease, there may also be very little time between identifying a patient and making a treatment decision.

That makes early feasibility critical. We use our experience to challenge recruitment assumptions, identify the right centres and understand where the right patients can realistically be found.

Our rare disease experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including hereditary angioedema (HAE), haemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), CIDP, cystic fibrosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary arterial hypertension.

In rare disease, finding patients is only part of the challenge. Small and geographically dispersed populations, long diagnostic journeys and highly specific eligibility criteria can make the real recruitment opportunity very different from prevalence estimates.

We start by understanding where patients are actually diagnosed and treated. Our experience helps sponsors identify the right specialist centres, set realistic recruitment expectations and build studies around the real patient pathway.

Our experience includes 87 clinical studies, with strong experience in epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease, alongside amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), CIDP, Parkinson’s disease, neuralgia and migraine.

Neurology rarely comes with a simple patient journey. Disease progression, previous treatments and strict diagnostic criteria can narrow the eligible population, while neurological assessments need to remain consistent across sites and over time. In Alzheimer’s disease, the caregiver can be an important part of the study journey too.

We use this experience to look beyond patient numbers and understand what recruitment and participation will actually require.

Our experience includes 82 clinical studies, with particularly strong experience in asthma and COPD, alongside cystic fibrosis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.

Timing matters in respiratory research. Seasonality, exacerbations, environmental factors and changes in lung function can all affect when patients are available and whether they meet the protocol requirements. In less common conditions, the right patients may be concentrated in a small number of specialist centres.

We use what we know about these disease patterns to help sponsors plan recruitment windows, sites and timelines more realistically.

Our experience includes 37 clinical studies, with particular experience in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, alongside bullous pemphigoid, rosacea, vitiligo and severe acne.

Skin conditions change. Severity can fluctuate, environmental and seasonal factors may influence symptoms, and previous treatments can determine whether a patient qualifies. Consistency in investigator and patient assessments matters too, particularly when endpoints depend on changes that need to be evaluated over time.

We use our experience to plan around those variables rather than treating dermatology recruitment as a simple numbers exercise.

Our experience includes 64 clinical studies, including hepatic impairment, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, alongside other gastrointestinal and liver conditions.

In inflammatory bowel disease, patients can move in and out of eligibility as disease activity changes. Previous biologics, concomitant therapies and endoscopic requirements can narrow the pool further. Hepatic impairment studies bring a different challenge, with participants needing to be identified and grouped according to their level of liver function.

Understanding those differences from the beginning helps us build a study plan around the patients the protocol actually needs.

Our experience includes 54 clinical studies, with particular experience in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and hereditary angioedema (HAE), alongside Sjögren’s syndrome, allergic rhinitis, lupus nephritis and primary immunodeficiency.

Every indication brings a different challenge. In allergic rhinitis, recruitment needs to follow the allergy season. In HAE, the patient population is small and concentrated around specialist centres. In lupus, fluctuating disease activity, background therapies and strict eligibility criteria can quickly narrow the pool of suitable patients.

Knowing this early matters. We use our experience to help sponsors choose the right sites, set realistic recruitment expectations and plan around the challenges before they affect the study.

Our experience includes 50 clinical studies, spanning hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation and pulmonary embolism.

Cardiovascular patients rarely arrive with a single condition. Comorbidities and multiple medications can affect eligibility, safety considerations and follow up. In pulmonary arterial hypertension, the challenge is different again, with a much smaller population concentrated around specialist centres.

We use this experience to understand where suitable patients are managed and what participation will realistically require from both sites and patients.

Our experience includes 45 clinical studies, including Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, hypercholesterolaemia, obesity and Cushing disease.

These indications can look straightforward from a prevalence perspective, but prevalence does not equal eligibility. Comorbidities, existing treatments, lifestyle factors and protocol thresholds can quickly reduce a large theoretical population.

We help sponsors get closer to the number that matters: the patients who can realistically enter and stay in the study.

Our experience includes 17 clinical studies, including contraception, endometriosis, menopausal hormone therapy, menopausal symptoms and heavy menstrual bleeding.

Timing can be particularly important in women’s health research. Menstrual and hormonal cycles may determine when assessments or procedures happen, while contraception and hormone studies can place additional demands on adherence. Sensitive conditions also require thoughtful patient communication.

We plan around those practical realities so that the protocol works not only scientifically, but for the women participating in it.

Our experience includes 39 clinical studies, including haemophilia A, immune thrombocytopenia, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria, von Willebrand disease and haemophilia B.

For many of these indications, the patient population is small and already closely connected to specialist treatment centres. Existing therapies and competing trials can make the genuinely available population smaller still.

Knowing the treatment landscape and where patients are actually managed helps us focus on the centres that can make a difference.

Our experience includes 49 clinical studies, spanning COVID 19, influenza, chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, urinary tract infections and other bacterial infections.

Patient availability can change quickly in infectious disease. Influenza follows seasonal patterns, outbreaks move geographically, and in acute infections the time between diagnosis and starting treatment may be very short. What looks feasible today may look different a few months later.

That is why we treat feasibility as something dynamic, using current disease patterns and local knowledge to guide where and when a study should recruit.

Our experience includes 11 clinical studies, spanning general wellbeing, food supplements, overweight and obesity, gastrointestinal health and preventive applications.

Much of what influences a nutritional study happens outside the clinic. Diet, lifestyle, other supplements and everyday behaviour can introduce variability, while adherence can be difficult to understand if participants are responsible for taking the intervention at home.

We use our experience to think carefully about participant selection, study burden and how the protocol will work in everyday life.

Our experience includes 12 clinical studies, including diabetic macular oedema, age related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

The right ophthalmology site needs more than patients. Specialist investigators, imaging capabilities, equipment and consistent assessments all matter. For people already living with impaired vision, travel and repeated study visits can also create a very practical barrier to participation.

We consider both sides when planning a study: what the protocol requires and what participation asks of the patient.

Our experience includes 7 clinical studies, with particular experience in chronic pain.

Pain is personal and difficult to measure. Baseline symptoms can vary, concomitant analgesics can influence assessments, and expectations and placebo response may affect outcomes. Consistency in how patients are selected and assessed therefore matters from the start.

Our experience helps us look closely at those variables when considering sites, patients and how the study will work in practice.

Our experience includes 33 clinical studies, spanning ADHD, smoking addiction, opioid addiction, autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression.

Psychiatry brings challenges that cannot always be captured in a feasibility spreadsheet. Diagnosis and assessments need to be consistent, placebo response can influence outcomes, and maintaining engagement throughout the study may be difficult. For some populations, caregivers and families are part of that journey too.

We look at the whole participation pathway when assessing whether a site and its patients are right for the study.

Our experience includes 54 clinical studies, with particularly strong experience in rheumatoid arthritis, alongside osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis.

The challenge is often not finding patients with the disease. It is finding patients who meet the protocol after previous biologics, background therapies, disease activity and other eligibility requirements are considered. Symptoms can also fluctuate, adding complexity to assessment and recruitment.

We use our experience to understand that real eligible population before recruitment expectations are set.

Our experience includes 2 clinical studies, including benign prostatic hyperplasia.

These studies may involve older patients living with other conditions and taking several medications, which can reduce the eligible population. Symptom based and quality of life assessments can also be an important part of understanding treatment effect.

We look beyond prevalence to understand which patients are genuinely suitable and what participation will require from them.
